These are the required and recommended system requirements for properly running Precision Mapping Streets 4.0 • Computer Operating System: Compatible systems would include computer systems with Windows 95/equivalent or higher. System Classes: • 486 66MHz to Pentium – Minimum system recommendations (should function adequately) • Pentium 100 MHz or higher – Recommended system. System Memory: The system memory (RAM) is an important factor in performance due to the amount needed to load and display the map data. • 16MB – Minimum amount of RAM (When searching in large metropolitan areas, the system will tend to be slow due to the amount of memory used by the map data). • 32MB – Suggested amount of RAM (The system should run smoothly). • 64MB or higher – Maximum performance. Display • The system was designed for a 256-color environment.
