What are the “symptoms” of self-sabotage behavior?
Self-sabotage behavior affects people of all ages, professions, financial and social status! Few people are exempt from this frustrating fact of life! Self-sabotage behavior can show up in many different ways and on many different levels of severity. For example, if you really want to exercise after work, but the moment you get home to change clothes, you start thinking of all the other things you “should” do instead… this is the internal conflict of self-sabotage behavior! Or for example, if you really want to write a new resume, but at the very same time, really don’t want to muster up the energy to sit down and work on it, this is the struggle of self-sabotage behavior. Or for example, you really want to stay on a diet and lose weight, but can’t seem to stop yourself from over eating.
