What are the symptoms of a teething puppy?

Teething puppies tend to do excessive chewing. Having plenty of chew toys and rawhide bones will help. It is also good to restrict where they go in the house. Some puppies will chew more than other puppies, but they never outgrow the chewing habit. It’s just in their nature. My moms dog chewed everything even though she had chew toys, and that is where restricting them comes into play. Let them play in a room, where you know they will have no access to electrical cords, cabinet and stove knobs. Anything else you can think of that might entice them to chew that instead of their chew toys. Only letting them have access to what you want them to chew is the main idea. Also, wetting down certain toys and placing them in a freezer til they get stiff helps also. They enjoy having cold thing to chew on also. For example, a knotted rope bone works well for this and it will last longer than a stuffed toy when wetted and frozen. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
