What are the symptoms of a scratched cornea?

0

I had a scratched cornea on two different occasions. Once, because my contact ripped in my eye and I had a hard time getting it out. The other time was from a grain of sand. My symptoms were: intense pain (the second time), sensitivity to light, and watering of the eyes. I went to the doctor the first time and they gave me some antibiotic drops and it healed in three days. The second time, I did not use anything and it took about the same amount of time.
