What Are the Symptoms of a Mild Heart Attack?
“Symptoms of a mild heart attack could include chest pain. It could also include neck or jaw pain or referred pain to the neck, jaw, or the shoulder. Shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, all of which are signs and symptoms of myocardial infarction. Other signs and symptoms could include hypertension, especially an elevated diastolic blood pressure. And remember the diastolic blood pressure is when the heart’s resting, so if the heart’s not resting enough during diastole, it causes an increase workload on the heart. Increased workload during injury of the heart itself increases the ischemia that the heart suffers during the heart attack itself. And remember, appropriate care for these patients isn’t pre-hospital.
