The symbols on the precious moments peices represent the year that that specific peice was manufactured. The peices rank in price by the symbol they have. When a new peice is introduced, they have a symbol put on it for that year, and it changes yearly until the original mold of the peice is broken and the peice is discontinued. The peices that have the symbol on it from the year that that peice was introduced are worth the most money. The peices then go down in price slowly each year they are made. so, the closer the year on your peice is to the year that your peice was first introduced, the more money its worth.
