i dont know what the shapes are but the face means that ur pokemon has pokerus dont worrie its not bad what pokerus does it it helps ur pokemon lvl up strong say when ever u lvl up ur pokemon u gain say like 2 hp point but when ur pokemon has pokerus it gains anywhere up to 4 hp points hoped this helped
