The submission requirements for the OurStage “Rock n’ Popsicles” Summer Song Competition are as follows: Entries must include vocals . Copyrighted images/album art may NOT be used to accompany entries and will be cause for withdrawal from the competition. Only submission materials that are determined, at the sole discretion of OurStage, to be classified under singer-songwriter (male), singer-songwriter (female), folk, pop, indie pop, indie rock, soft rock, rock, alternative, southern rock, funk, modern rock, as defined on the OurStage FAQ’s will be deemed valid entries. Entry lyrics must contain summer-themes beaches, sunshine, summer nights, summer love, summer parties, barbecues, vacation, road trips, surfing…we could go on but we think you get the idea.
