What are the student dress code guidelines?
A. The student dress code at Silverado Middle School is consistent with NVUSD Board Policy 5132 and is designed to ensure both safety and the ability for each student to focus on learning. In the past, Silverado has allowed students to wear spirit apparel from SMS and other schools within NVUSD. This year we have expanded the selection to include college/university apparel. Please read and become familiar with the dress code policy posted on our School Policies page as there are consequences for noncompliance and this can be embarrassing to students. Q. Id like to visit during the day, how should I make arrangements to visit during school hours? A. Always come to our school office to check in and receive a visitors pass. All visitors are required to leave a drivers license or other photo ID in the office before walking on campus. Call or e-mail one of our administrators for a visit or stop by the office to check the school calendar for the day of your visit. You are always welcome! Q.
