The 13.0m and 13.3m wings of the Silent 2 TARGA have pultruded carbon-fiber spar caps whereas the 12.0m wing has unidirectional fiberglass spar caps. Both wing types use synthetic core sandwich structures that are vacuum bagged and heat cured, but the skins on the Silent 2 and Silent 2 TARGA wings include carbon fiber while the Silent Club wings are entirely fiberglass. All wing types have carbon fiber flaperons dictated by stiffness requirements.
