Prospective students should begin by attending the required Pre-GED and GED Online Orientation/TABE Testing/Registration session, which is given on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (see below). Testing is held from 1–5 p.m.. Meet in the White Building, Basic Skills Lobby. During this session, applicants will: • Take the TABE Placement Test in reading, language and math. • Register for the GED Online class if minimum test criteria are met on the TABE (minimum criteria of at least ninth grade reading, math and language). • Complete required paperwork. If you cannot meet on Tuesday please call 919-536-7218, ext. 3003 to make other arrangements.
