What are the steps to access the Internet-based survey?
• Statistics Canada will send an e-mail to employees informing them of the survey and providing them with a 16-digit access code (similar to a PIN number for a bank card) and a direct link to the online survey. • Employees will be able to save their answers if they have not finished filling out the survey and complete the questionnaire at a later time. A respondent wishing to use this option will be required to enter a password. This is to ensure confidentiality and access security. If a password is lost, a new one can be requested from the system by clicking Forgot your password? • Upon completing the survey, employees will get a message confirming that their responses have been received. • The encrypted data will then be sent to Statistics Canada where it will be stripped of any identifying information, such as the e-mail address, to ensure confidentiality.
