What are the steps in getting a license?
(Tuscaloosa County) A direct application must be turned in to the office of the Tuscaloosa County License Commissioner. Most can be issued immediately at the time of application. A few exceptions include: • Auto dealers-must present proof of a current Motor Vehicle Dealer Regulatory License (Act 539) issued by the Alabama Department of Revenue; • Restaurants, cafes, public-eating houses, etc.- must present a certificate from the County Health Department.
