What are the steps in creating a value management strategy?
The process starts with some fast data gathering (primarily via interviews with key internal and external constituents). As part of this initial effort, we clarify, as soon as possible, the overall goals of the organization. For example, a business may seek to become the leader of the market it is focused on. If a company is privately held, the owners goal may be to sell the business at some point, or take it public. We then lead the management team through a series of seven structured analysis and decision-making sessions (or modules) each of which addresses one of the seven critical value questions.
