What are the steps in applying for an HB-REX internship?
(1) First you submit the Preliminary Application, indicating your interest in becoming an HB-REX summer research intern. This application is due January 25th. If you have already established a relationship with a mentor and agreed on a suitable project, you should describe this. If not, then you should list up to three submitted projects to which you would like to apply. (2) If you have a research mentor already and your full application is accepted, the next step is to work out the details of the HB-REX Contract. In close consultation with your research mentor, you will write a more detailed description of your internship project and work out the details of your internship. Approval of a satisfactory HB-REX Contract is required for final acceptance into the program. If you do not have a research mentor already, then you may be asked to submit a full application to one or more of the projects you indicated in your preliminary application. Faculty mentors will receive these applications
