What are the steps I need to take to have dual citizenship between Canada/US?

There’s technically no such thing as dual citizenship. There’s just being a citizen of two countries at the same time, with both countries allowing you to be a citizen of somewhere else at the same time as being a citizen of their country. So the steps are the same as if you’d asked how do you move to the USA. You need to successfully apply for an immigrant visa and live there for 5 years, get permanent residence, and then you can apply to be naturalised as a US citizen. At that point you are a US citizen and both countries permit you to remain a Canadian citizen as well.
