What are the steps for booking an in-class test or exam at CSD?

Students and their Program Coordinator will discuss and review test and exam procedures at the start of each term. Sufficient time must be given to arrange the date, time and location of tests/exams, and it is the student’s responsibility to meet the specified deadlines. Failure to do so will mean that test and exam accommodations cannot be guaranteed. Procedures for In-Class Tests and Exams 1) Students ask their instructor if they will provide the accommodations for tests and exams. Many instructors will arrange for some accommodations (i.e. extra time or providing a reader/scribe knowledgeable in the course). Instructors are expected to provide the necessary accommodations whenever possible. 2) If the instructor can not provide the requested accommodations, students may book their test/exam at CSD, with two weeks notice. Students must book their test/exam as close as possible to the same time that the class is writing. Students may book in person at CSD, from our website (click here)
