What are the Status definitions in my Bookshelf?
• Draft: book is incomplete, missing metadata under “Your Book” or pricing/content under “Rights and Pricing”. It’s also possible for books to be in this state while live on the website if content has been changed and not yet re-published. • Ready: book is ready to be published and submitted to Amazon for review; all required book fields are complete. Click “Save and Publish” under “Rights and Pricing.” • Publishing: book has already been submitted to Amazon for review and publishing; usually takes around 48 hours for book to be live on website. • Live: book is live on website and available for purchase. • Failed: book was not accepted by Amazon to publish for reason that will be specified by email. • Republishing: book has been updated in DTP and has been resubmitted for publishing; is live on website for purchase in prior format during this phase. 3-16 What does “Ready” status mean?
