What are the standards of recommending a candidate?
POSCO TJ Park Prize have different standards for each different award. For science award, individuals and organizations can recommend candidates, for individuals it needs three professionals’ recommendation in the same field, and for organizations, it needs recommendations of a university president’s, a research institute president’s, and a Society president’s. For education award, a president of a educational institution or educational administration institution or a company, or an NGO or an organization of Korean residents abroad. For Service award, individuals or organizations can recommend a candidate. For domestic, general people can recommend candidates, and for abroad, a candidate needs at least two recommendations.
