Basic scaffold ties for independent and putlog scaffolds should be fitted: • On the first standard and then on alternate standards horizontally • At alternate levels with a maximum vertical interval of 4m • At the top platform level for sheeted and debris netted scaffolds. If the above cannot be achieved then design advice should be sought! Façade bracing should be placed every five bays.
