What are the specimen requirements for the test?
Pathwork Diagnostics requires a block of FFPE tissue with at least 60% viable tumor. Alternatively, Pathwork Diagnostics will accept as few as three 10-μm-thick paraffin sections with an H&E slide. Tissue specimens should: • sit no longer than 1 hour before fixing • be fixed in phosphate buffered formalin or 4% paraformaldehyde for between 6 and 24 hours • not be decalcified • not be in agar • not have been previously frozen For complete specimen collection and shipping requirements, please visit the Order Origin LDT page.
