The non-living things in the cosmos are developed from the invisible whorls called protons, electrons, and photons. They follow laws of physics and chemistry. The living things are developed from the visible non-living things like proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and water. Living things move, feed, grow, respond to stimulus, and reproduce. Decomposed living things after many years form natural petroleum products like natural gas, petrol, oils, grease, and tar. By products from living things like the sap of the rubber tree is used to produce useful products. Living things can be further divided into plants, animals, and man. Plants synthesize their own food in the sunlight using water and carbon dioxide and minerals using the catalyst, chlorophyll. Animals feed on plants or on other animals.
