The majority of the photographs on Album were digitized at 400dpi, sized at 8×10 inches. The resulting image size is 4000 pixels on the long edge. Black and white images range from 12 to 15 MB; color images from 30 to 45 MB. Several thousand images in several collections were scanned at 300dpi, sized at 8×10 inches, with the resulting image size at 3000 pixels on the long edge. If you require a larger file size, the Kenan Research Center Reprographics Department will be happy to create scans on demand for you. Contact Betsy Rix at 404.814.4067 for more information.
