Page 52 of the FY 2010 REMS grant application outlines the various NIMS courses that require grantee completion by the end of the grant award period. These courses are ICS-100, IS-700, IS-800, ICS-200, and ICS-300 and 400. Specific details on NIMS requirements for the REMS grant, aside from completion of the training courses, can be accessed through the link provided in the application to the FY 2009 NIMS requirements. Details on who to train and how many, and in which courses they would need to be trained are typically made at the local level. Guidelines are provided in the NIMS FAQ portion of the REMS grant application and are available on the REMS TA Center Web site at rems.ed.gov. The information is in the process of being updated; however, the training portion remains largely the same.
