What are the special features of the UART in the HT49RU80?
Answer The UART is a full duplex asynchronous unit that can choose either 8 or 9 character lengths, odd, even or no parity and one or two stop bits. It contains a baud rate generator with an 8-bit prescaler, parity, framing, noise and overrun error detection, as well as supporting interrupts and address detect. The device has independent transmit and receive enables, a two level FIFO receive buffer and transmit and receive registers.
