What are the sources of air pollution in Dundee?
Traffic is the major source of pollution in Dundee. There are several industrial processes which do create emissions to the atmosphere. Any processes with a significant potential for pollution are regulated by the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency. The monitoring undertaken to date suggests that the industrial processes within Dundee are not likely to cause exceedances of any of the National Air Quality Standards.
