What are the solutions to reduce pollution in big cities?
The Clean Air Act (from government, that may have mutliple solutions) Cleaner burning fuels carpooling, using mass transit, ect… planting more gardens and creating more spaces where plants can grow (plants clear the air and the younger plants create the most oxygen)… air filtering machines that capture CO2 using alternative forms of transport that do not emit an exhaust, or at least less of an exhaust (bicycles, hybrid vehicles, etc…) create an “adopt a spot” program where people, groups, organizations and companies can pick spots in the city and beautify them with gardens or large containers that contain plants… celebrate Earth Day and have a fair that allows earth friendly and self sustaining businesses to advertise and show their products… new technologies that are being used now and more that are envisioned for the near future (count this one as nine through fifteen)…
