On Inauguration Day, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History and the Castle building will open two hours early at 8 a.m. All Smithsonian museums will be open Jan. 20 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Inauguration Day closures include the Renwick Gallery, the National Gallery of Art’s East Building, and the Sculpture Garden. The outdoor ice skating rink also will be closed Jan. 20.
