What are the Sky TV Transponder Frequency Settings?
Both Freesat TV and Sky TV systems use the same satellites and 99.9% of the time the same frequencies settings for their channels. Both Freesat TV and Sky TV systems use a number of transponders / frequencies across four satellites. A number of these transponders are lease to the BBC, ITV and Sky, and a few other operators. In all there are over 80 transponders and frequencies used for supplying UK satellite television via Sky TV or Freesat TV. The only time they do not are for when you access each systems electronic programme guide or EPG, as the Freesat EPG is on Eurobird and the Sky EPG is on Astra 2bNorth (11778).
