I am currently using a Premier Genista kit in White Marine Pearl. Mike Ellis at Baskey Vintage expertly restored and serviced the kit, and also created the custom bass drum display head. Sizes: 13″ x 9″ tom, two 16″ x 16″ floor toms, 24″ x 16″ bass drum. The snare is a 14″ x 5.5″ Premier Modern Classic (maple) or occasionally a vintage Ludwig 400. The small snare to the left of the hi-hats is a Premier 10″ x 6″ birch. Cymbal-wise, it’s 15″ hi-hats, 20″ ride, 18″ and 19″ crashes. I also use various items of Rhythm tech percussion, including a large studio cowbell (over my first floor tom) and a Ribbon Crasher (over the second floor tom).
