The new schools slated for closure are: Brewer Elementary, Munger Elementary, Erma Henderson Lower School, Birney Elementary, Stark School of Technology and Winterhalter Elementary. The building that houses Marcus Garvey Academy will close and the program will move to Butzel Elementary’s campus. Five programs will be spared: Columbus Middle, Durfee Elementary, McNair Middle as well as Westside Alternative and Longfellow Annex, which were slated to move.
