The Site Plan Review (SPR) and Vertical Inspections Permitting System (VIPS) tracking systems are a Lotus Notes database used to track project status and to provide communications between the Development Services Department, City departments reviewing the submitted site and building plans, the architects, engineers, and developers associated with those projects. How is the status of a SPR / VIPS project viewed? Access to site and building permit information is available on the City web site. The Development Services Office provides a “Project Number” for Site Development and a “Plan Review Number” for Building and Trade Permits to the agent or design consultant when the project has been entered into the SPR or VIPS tracking system.
