What are the sins that I should confess to the Bishop?
It is difficult to draw an exact line between sins that require confession and sins that do not. One guideline is that you should confess sins that would keep you from getting a temple recommend. For example, criminal offenses, any violation of the Word of Wisdom (drinking alcohol, smoking, drugs, etc.) or the law of chastity (immorality or involvement with pornography) should be discussed immediately with the Bishop. Another principle you could follow is to talk to the Bishop about any sin you continue to feel guilty about, even after you have tried to repent.
