What are the similarities and difference of the protestants and Christians on the way they worship their god?

Protestants are a subset of Christians, so everything they do would be “Christian”. Other subsets include Catholics, Greek Orthodox, etc. The similarities are primarily on the reverence of the Triune God with Jesus Christ being the Savior of the World. all of them would uphold the Nicene Creed and therefore be considered orthodox. As for what constitutes a heresy, you really begin to get into the deeper scholarly discussions, but I will leave it at that. As for how they differ, it is usually on the manners in which they worship. Some protestants have a liturgical worship service, while others do not. Most other branches of Christianity seem to be liturgical if I am not mistaken. In the Protestant world, you almost have to study them denomination by denomination to know how to categorize them. As for what xvortex above me wrote, he is wrong on some accounts. Luther did not spark the Great Schism. The Great Schism was what split the church into East and West, and it happened pretty early

Firstly, Protestants are a subset of Christians, so there isn’t much difference. The other major subset of Christians is Catholic, particularly Roman Catholic, and their worship practices don’t differ much either.
