What are the signs when my cat is gonna have birth?
Before our cat gave birth I read up on it a little and found that some cats act unusually affectionate right before giving birth. (We’re talking minutes) This was the case for our cat. We were in bed asleep and she crawled under the covers and started rubbing all over us and and nipping us to wake us up. It was the sweetest thing ever. We took her to the bedding box we made for her and helped her clean the kitties as they came out. Made sure to get the stuff out of their noses and eyes. Be forewarned Momma will eat the babies poop for awhile. She has to stimulate them or they won’t poop. Sorry for the graphic image but that’s definately something I didn’t know. After everyone was old enough we got them all fixed, including Momma. Four cats is enough! The birthing was a very special and bonding moment. All cats are different but ours definately wanted us there. It helps to make a place for her to have the kittens. We just used a cardboard box open at the top and towels. Good luck!
