There are no signs of dilation except being checked by your doctor…. the only sign of dilation is the bloody show which happens usually within 24 hours of labor starting…. the bloody show is NOT the mucus plug, the bloody show is just blood tinged mucus that is caused by your cervix dilating and as it does so, the capillaries rupture and tint your mucus pink.
