What are the signs and symptoms of peanut allergy?
If you have a peanut allergy you will have an allergic reaction to peanuts. This can be a mild reaction, with an itchy rash, tingling lips or mouth, or tummy ache, or it could be a severe reaction called anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis is the most severe form of allergy. The whole body is affected, often within minutes of exposure to the allergen (the peanut) but sometimes after hours.
