I have been on effexor for several months for symptoms of menopause. My husband was also prescribed effexor xr for midlife crisis. It altered our personality so bad he left me last weekend. He had only been taking it for 2 weeks. He came off cold turkey and back to his old self. We talked and I’m coming off it. I’m having major side effects I believe.
