What are the side effects of withdrawal of anti psychotic drugs i.e. risperidone/haloperidol?
When I stopped taking Risperdal (Risperidone), my throat closed up, I couldn’t move the muscles in my face or neck for several hours, and that was just the worst of it. Contact a doctor if you haven’t already, and NEVER go off an anti-psychotic without asking a doctor first–with these kinds of drugs you need to be weaned off slowly to avoid the symptoms your husband has.
