What Are the Side Effects of Noni Juice?
Because the Noni fruit is a naturally occurring plant there are, thankfully, very few reported adverse side effects from the use of Noni Juice despite its extensive use. This is in sharp contrast with the bulk of man-made medicines which often attract complications. The only reported cases of side effects of Noni Juice which I could find were those of two individuals who suffered liver damage. In both cases, they had taken excessive amounts of pure Noni Juice concentrate. Statistically, two cases in the overall scheme of things is extremely insignificant. However, it is a timely reminder that anything taken in excess can potentially cause complications. Some Noni fruit growers use fertilizers and pesticides to enhance the volume of Noni Juice produced. Whilst this does not cause a side effect, it does significantly reduce the nutritional and medicinal benefits of the Noni Juice components.
