Your increased heart rate is from all that caffeine. Energy drinks are pretty much just sugar and caffeine, definitely little to no benefits. Side effects are increased heart rate, sugar crash, fatigue, elevated body functions such as sugar level, tremors, dehydration, dizziness, blurred vision, breathing problems, etc. There are a lot of possible symptoms from energy drinks. Most of the symptoms come from the amount of caffeine from each energy drink. A little caffeine has been shown to be beneficial, but the amount of caffeine in energy drinks is ridiculous. I’d definitely cut down on energy drinks or not drink them at all. Coffee and tea are great alternatives.
