What are the side effects of Copaxone®?
The most common side effects of Rebif include injection-site reactions (soreness, redness, pain, and bruising), flu-like symptoms (fever, chills, sweating, fatigue, and muscle aches), depression, elevation of liver enzymes, and blood disorders (for instance, a decrease in the levels of infection-fighting blood cells). The flu-like symptoms usually lessen over time. The patient should check with the doctor about taking an over-the-counter medication, such as acetaminophen (Tylenol®), for pain or fever before or after the dose of Rebif.
