What are the side effects from Hepatitis A vaccine?
Hepatitis A vaccine is generally well tolerated. Most side effects are mild and don’t last more than 24 hours. Most common is soreness or pain at injection site. Less common are fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, hives, muscle or joint aches. Although rare, risk of serious allergy response or death could occur after receiving vaccine. Such problems could occur after receiving any medicine or vaccine.
