What are the short and long term plans for integrating these services into the overall Second Life platform?
In the short term, services from the web-based marketplace will continue to work as they have. In the long term, we have many plans for how to make these services easier for Second Life merchants and Residents to use. It is too early in the process to publicly elaborate on specific plans, but Linden Lab will do its best to communicate and listen to Resident feedback as we get further into this process.
