What are the shipping charges?
Abazias is proud to offer free shipping on all US orders! Diamonds and settings valued over $2000 are shipped Overnight UPS within the United States. Packages will be shipped via UPS or FedEx or USPS (for orders under $1000). Packages are double boxed and insured for your protection. All packages require an adult (21 and over) signature to be delivered. Diamonds and Settings requiring international shipping will be sent via Overnight FedEx, but will take approximately 3-5 business days for delivery. International shipping and insurance prices will depend on the location and value of the purchase. Please contact a Diamond Specialists for exact values.
Our Shipping charges cover the cost charged by our fulfillment center, though we often subsidize these costs. The shipping tables are printed on your order form, and are also viewable online through our online store. Or simply click on the following link: shipping rates. Please note that changes made after the order has shipped may be subject to additional charges.
Shipping charges are based on UPS rates, which are based on the shipping weight and size of the product(s) as well as the shipping zone for your area. Shipping is billed at cost, with minimum charges as follows: Minimum UPS Ground shipping charge is $8.50 within the Continental U.S.. Minimum shipping charge for air shipments is as follows: 3-Day Select $23.20 2nd Day $36.55 Next-Day $68.45. IMPORTANT NOTE: This minimum charge only covers up to 5 lbs (non-dimensional weight) to most urban commercial address within the Continental U.S., with the exception of those items that ship as ‘dimensional weight’ as defined in #16 above. Shipping weight is often a few lbs heavier than actual product weights shown, due to the outside shipping containers and/or necessary packing to protect the products. We prefer to ship Continental Airlines from Tyler, Texas and the following charges apply: Airfare – 200 Health Certificate – 25 Shipping Crate – 25 Transportation charge – 25 total – 275 We can also use Delta, American, or Alaskan Airlines with varying airfare rates, and as we must drive to Dallas for these airlines there will be an additional $25 charge for the additional distance. Puppies will be fed and watered prior to shipment. Food will be attached to the outside of the crate and airline personnel will feed and water puppies during the trip if necessary, per airline guidelines. Bedding in the form of absorbant pads and/or newspaper will be placed in the crate. You will receive a call from us after we turn the puppies over to the airline, and we request you call us at home or on my cell phone as soon as the puppy arrives. We will often make one or more follow up calls and/or emails in the first few weeks to monitor how your puppy is settling in.
