What are the shared pages on the site?
A. The following pages are open to all users, both instructor(s) and students: • Discussion Board. Messages are displayed in fully threaded fashion. Fresh and follow-up postings can be made here by all users. Messages can be deleted by the Instructor only. • Instructor’s Announcements. Read-only for students. • Chat — allowing everyone to start chatting immediately without needing to install any software in one’s computer. A user is identified by the program using his username when he enters into a chatroom. There are in fact 2 chatrooms for every KnowEdge classroom: • A chatroom for users within the same classroom • A global chatroom for all users of KnowEdge classrooms within the same domain. Hyperlinks submitted as chat inputs are workable — users can click on them. You can also submit image code such as copied from the “View My Files Page. Then the image will be displayed. This is however not recommended because the auto-refreshing function of the chatroom may slow down the displ
