What Are The Setbacks Of Applying Electronic Spreadsheets In Management Decision Making?
It has two much data, although very well aligned in table format and formulas applied on cell for automatic calculation, but mostly not worth recording data, do produce quick reports but not very much suitable for decision making because of restriction on applying multiple queries on the data. Further it does not provide graphical view of data, in the form of histograms, polygons, pie charts which are much more suitable for decision making. Where as an object oriented and relational database system the information is divided in different tables subject wise and there relationship is also decided so multiple queries can be used on worth recording data and data can also be shown graphically and its MIS Manager job to give worthy data to worthy manager for a worthy decision.
