What are the setbacks and requirements for a shed?

0

The shed/outbuilding must be ten feet (10′) from surrounding buildings such as your house, neighbor’s houses, other sheds, etc. The shed can be as close as one foot (1′) from the property line with a fire wall in place or three feet (3′) without a fire wall. Please consult City Code, Title 10, for specific information relating to your home’s zoning setback requirements. A site plan is required to accompany any permit, an example can be found in the building permit packet.
