What are the setback regulations for my property?
A. The setback requirements in most areas are 25 feet from the front property line and 10 feet from the side and rear property lines. If the lot is a corner lot all sides facing a street are considered the front and would therefore require a 25-foot setback. The exceptions throughout town for front setbacks include: Sandwich Road – 35-foot front setback, Thomas Landers Road – 50-foot front setback, Route 151 (Nathan Ellis Hwy) – 75-foot front setback.
