Mobile Banking consists of two services: • Mobile Banking via Text/SMS Message: Mobile Text banking gives you the ability to send certain text message commands to Bank of the West using a shortcode ( a 5-digit phone number belonging to your financial institution) to obtain account balances, view account transaction history, or perform account transfers. The Bank of the West Short code is BKWST (25978). • Mobile Banking via Mobile Web: Mobile Web is a website that is accessed through your mobile device, and is optimized for mobile device viewing. It contains many of the features of online banking, just formatted for viewing on a small screen. Mobile Web allows you to sign on to a mobile version of Online Banking to enable you to perform many of the features available via Online Banking today, including: viewing account balances, transferring funds, and finding Bank of the West locations.
